Market at the Litchfield Firehouse this week, 4/20 This week, 4/20, the market will be at the LITCHFIELD FIREHOUSE, 258 West Street, Litchfield, CT 06759. It is between CVS and the gas station/Hometown Pizza. Entrance to the market from the parking lot behind the fireshouse. We will move back to the Community Center for the next market on May 4.
Here are some things of note for the market this week. - Fifth State Distillery and Lynette's Precocious Preserves will NOT be at market this week. - Belle Alpaca is with us for the next few markets. bringing alpaca products. - March Farms returns for the season. - Mockingbird Kitchen and Bar is planning on being at the market - Guest vendor - Dahlia For Days - dahlia tubers - Guest vendor - Jessica's Homestead Kitchen - baked goods - Guest artist - JH Photo Art - specialty animal photography - Guest artist - SCK Art Studio - original designs, notecards, bags For the complete list of vendors, see the participation list below. Bok Choy and Radish Sidediish is our recipe this week, both available at the market. If you think of them primarily as salad ingredients, you will be in for a treat with this simple saute in butter and oil. The first we learned of cooking radishes was last year, and we are fans!
